We are having a lot of fun meeting bakers from throughout the Dallas area, and we hope to enjoy everyone’s baking and hard work at Cupcake Camp Dallas in a few weeks. But I also hope everyone gets to talk to some of the folks from the LEAP foundation. They just got back from a trip to the Dominican Republic where they performed several life-changing operations.

Why do you want to be part of Cupcake Camp Dallas? The LEAP Foundation is an incredible group. Our family recently hosted a 5-year-old Russian Orphan with a severe cranial facial deformity. She was able to come to the United States under a medical visa, made possible by LEAP Foundation, and she has had five surgeries and several other procedures under anesthesia, all paid for by the LEAP Foundation, estimated in excess of $100,000. She now lives with her forever family as they finalize her adoption.
What makes a great cupcake? Moist and doesn’t crumble.
