Welcome Emily Beck

Emily Beck is an amateur baker with a heart to serve. Thanks for participating again this year!

What is the sweetest thing about summer?
I thinking that hanging out and spending time with my friends and family is the sweetest part of summer.

Tell us about your experience with us last year…
I was a part of Cupcakes for a Cause in the past and it was so fun to be around other bakers and trying new things. The fact that it benefited the leap foundation was just the icing on the cake:)

What makes a great cupcake?
To me, what makes a great cupcake is the frosting, because without that, you just have a really good muffin.

I will be bringing a cinnamon roll cupcake, an orange creamsicle cupcake, and a cannoli cupcake!

What makes a great cupcake?
First and foremost… a from scratch batter as your base… complimented by homemade icings and buttercreams. Secondly Quality Ingredients: …a good frosting to cupcake ratio. Too much frosting will over power the taste of your cake.
